Room/Question 3:
How do I react when I hold
on to the belief...
Theme: Addiction
Again, at the threshold... Did you notice that something is happening on the floor?
This "something" looks like 12 numbered squares, 12 anonymous steps, one for each side of the two dice used to play the
"I Need Game..."

Here it is; clearer, and clearly originating from the previous room...

The glass bowls contained either food beliefs, e.g., I have to have chocolate, or It's Miller time, Money/Power beliefs, e.g. It costs too much or Nothing is free, Media beliefs, e.g. I can't live without a cell phone! or I read it in the paper; it must be true! Sex beliefs, e.g. no example on this one, use your imagination (grins...)

Last are some truth beliefs, excepted from Harry Palmer's book, "Love Precious Humanity."

Designing the show, I simply knew I wanted only sexual images in this room. Why? There are many more addictions than to sex!
To the left, Elephantra. It took me time to understand the magic of this piece, of how an Indian woman can receive the assistance of the Elephant God Ganeesh to reach her goal and meet no obstacles. That prayer is answered when the use of her creative/sexual energy comes from innocence, from having pure motives, as modeled by the Elephant, whose forehead is marked by the Aleph of purity...
THERE WAS THE WHY OF USING ONLY SEXUAL IMAGERY... AS SOON AS I MISUSE MY POWER, I.E. MY SEXUAL/CREATIVE ENERGY, I GO INTO ADDICTION, BE IT TO SEX, FOOD, DRUGS, MEDITATION, ETC...

Above, Before me, Raphael, Carmen's Shiva Wantsa, Martha Jacobson's Femina, Spirit of a Spermatozoid, and Don's green Emotional Response, although I could call it...
As below, so above... The marionnette is juggling all tasks and surrounded by "I WANT," "I NEED," "MORE," "MORE..."

The story of humanity:
How do I react when I hold on to the belief "This was the worst..."
. Pain
. Abandonment, loneliness
. Sadness, grief
. I am at war
. I know better than God...

(those beliefs are written on the middle panel)

Magnificent Green Dragon had to be here!

Interesting Creation (below) was a surprise from the moment it was conceived until it connected to the friend --thank you, Marley, who is giving it/her a permanent home... In the exhibit, it was
placed in between religion and addiction, like one moment of enlightenment, like a breath of fresh air unexpectedly woven in the fabric of our many stories...
